Chillaxin' Too Much?

After what seemed to be forever, I've finally realized that I have another blog to update, and this is not just because I wanna make some cash off of this baby, but because I wanna get back on track. I started this blog way in 2006, but never really added content until like mid-2007.

The original purpose of this blog was of course, like every other frustrated kid at the time, I wanted to have something where I could vent out, but I was always more comfortable with just an ordinary pen and paper and well, a pen and paper may be more comfortable, but it's not safe from the prying eyes of my siblings.

Now an online blog can be kept private even if it is ONLINE for everyone else to see. I've noticed that I've been holding back everything that I've wanted to pour out and was majorly concerned about what I wanted to write in the first place. I wanted to write about charities, I wanted to write about making money, I wanted to write about daily events, but then again, who would really care, right?

So then I came to realize that since I pretty much can't please everybody with whatever writing talent that I used to have, I'm just gonna write about anything I can think of. So looks like my random personality is about to surface! Why don't you guys check out my other blog, Miss Wilhelmina, for whatever you can find on there?

Chillin' and Puffin'

Well, I don't really puff, but I do like chilling out a lot. Maybe a little too much. At my workplace though, everybody seems to like puffing. I've met some people at work who said that they never puffed or smoked before they started working, but apparently, they can't help smoking anymore.

Oh well...

I just hope I don't get sucked into the black hole. Anyway, I got someone from work who got me into letting her borrow some cash since her baby caught pneumonia and was in the hospital, so out of a good heart, I let her borrow some cash, and what irked me was that, she's working and she's supposed to be sending some cash home to her mom and kid and then comes pay day, and she texted me telling me that she's looking for me so she can pay me. It was my rest day so I won't be going to work. The day I came to work, she couldn't pay me anymore because she says she lost her money. Guess what, she promises to pay back the following week because her mom's sending her cash.

What? I thought she was the one sending the cash...

Well, I started observing her from afar and I noticed that basically almost every week, she has a new shirt or a new pair of shoes, or she talks about eating out.

It's almost pay day again, and I am just waiting until she finally decides whether or not she tells me that she can't pay me back, or I may have to pull something to get her to pay me back.

Hmmm, maybe I should take her ATM and the pin number and just give it back to her after I take what she owes me.

Cebu Bloggers Society

I've been part of the Cebu Bloggers Society for a while now, but it's only been recently that we've started to move or do something. Haha, really, we were just a group into writing on the web space and now, we've found out that there's more to blogging than meets the eye. Since we've started being active, persay, a few of the members suggested that we have shirts printed out that would promote the group. And well, I love shirts. The more exclusive, the better. But I'm not that materialistic. I just like the thought that the Cebu bloggers are getting along together and that everyone seems to agree on common things. In short, we're moving together as one.

If you wanna see the design, you can hop over to Miong and Marquee. It's a pretty sweet design and well, I can't wait for my real-life friends to see me in it. Haha.

Full-time Blogging

That is something that I can't do, since I have a full-time job and I don't have Internet at home anymore. Traffic has been sucky for this blog since I stopped updating in May.

Now I wonder, how do the full time bloggers get by everyday? What kind of investments do they have to make just to keep their traffic up? What is their ISP? Haha, still on the ISP issue.

In blogging, how many times a week do you have to update a blog, or is it even necessary to keep the blog updated every week? What is the purpose of blogging? Is it for monetary purposes, or just to vent out on cyberspace?

Is it for attention? What? I'm not totally sure, but I think I had answers to these questions roughly around a year ago. Now I'm just stumped. It would just seem like such a waste if I quit blogging now that I've been doing it for a year now.

So do you have answers for me?

Hollywood Flirt Lines

Ever tried flirting with someone using lines from movies?

"You complete me."

Do you really think those kind of lines actually work? I haven't actually tried those, but I think most of the time guys are the ones who usually come up with these lines. Now can you come up with a memorable line that you said to someone and it actually worked?

People love melodramatic lines. Well, not everybody is cheesy like that, but if you deliver it at the right moment, it might actually work. Some might even start laughing hilariously at you for saying such cheesy lines, but if you look serious enough and if that someone that you are trying to flirt with is somewhat familiar with the line and finds your delivery quite attractive, well, looks like we have a winner then!

Now, if you had Extreme Style by VO5, the lines might still be cheesy and the person that you're trying to flirt with might think of you as a dork, but he/she might also reconsider since you're looking all fine with that great looking hair.

I tried playing the game again and used some of the Hollywood lines, of course, the person I played with thought it was hilarious that I used such lines, but the plus was that he liked me because I'm humorous. So try playing the game as well. Here it is for your convenience. It's the Ultimate Flirting Championship game again. It's a fun and quick game, so try it.

Off to the LAN Party

The aim is to get 500 computers under one roof! The event has already started and I am super late! It started long ago at 8AM and will end tomorrow at 8AM as well, so this is a 24 hour event, but unfortunately for the event organizers, it has been ongoing for more than 48 hours already.

I just hope it's a successful one and I will update as soon as I can! But right now, gotta get my butt to the doc's for my appointment. Gotta stay healthy for the job, right? :D

Michael Phelps and Kellogg

Word has it that Michael Phelps signed a deal with Kellogg and that his image will be put on Kellogg's Frosted Flakes boxes and will be sold all across America. Now people are asking if this is going to help his athletic career or not.

I don't really care if it helps his career or not. Actually, what I'm thinking is that this endorsement will help Kellogg sell more of their products since they have the Olympian as their endorser.

Of course, kids all over the country will want to achieve what Phelps has and would be motivated to be the best that they can. I just hope that Kellogg's game plan works. This deal should work for everybody. Everybody meaning Kellogg, Michael Phelps and the consumers of Kellogg's products.

So what do you think of this latest endorsement?

Better than Smartbro?

Okay, so I have had just about enough of my internet service provider, Smartbro. I mean, up until June, it has been a pretty good ISP. I never had any problems connecting to the Internet, I couldn't even consider it as being slow. I was under the two-year lock-in period. But as soon as I got out of it, the Internet just suddenly started acting up and well, I was struck with intermittent connectivity. I don't think that just because I got out of the lock-in period, the service would start being sucky.

My internet would just come in and out. I was actually planning on upgrading my speed, but unfortunately, that would mean me leaving Smartbro and I would have to go with PLDT, Globe or Bayantel. Bayantel for me is still super expensive. And well, the raving complaints about PLDT and Globe's service is really disheartening.

Now, would I still wanna change from Smartbro to PLDT or Globe? If you are in the Labangon area, could you tell me how your Internet is doing?

Get the Victory Hair

This might sound totally weird to you, but it seems that having the messy hair is the "in" thing nowadays. Why? Because for some people, when their hair is messy, it gives the impression that they have done something "freaky"--if you get my drift. *Wink*

The Extreme Style by VO5 is basically having its Ultimate Flirting Championship, where you basically create an avatar on the site and flirt till you drop. You win the championship if you get the Victory Hair.

Try this widget out for free and see how you like it.

For more widgets please visit www.yourminis.com

So, what do you think? I for one thought it was a fun little game, so I hope that you enjoy it too. While playing the game, there is a little at the top while waiting for other players to come. When playing the game, there should be about three of you. Within the game, the little screen on top of your head talks about how to flirt effectively.

Ultimate Flirting Championship really is a championship only this time, it's a championship between avatars and you only get to finish the game when you have the Victory Hair.

Now what would be a good strategy to have Victory Hair? The number one rule getting the Victory Hair, is to of course, flirt as much as you can. You would be provided with flirt bubbles that tell you on what to do and how to flirt the right way. There's also a way where you can act as the judge instead. If you are confused about the entire thing, don't be, you can forget all about your doubts once you tried it, so go ahead and try it.

Making Money with Adsense

It's been almost a year since I started publishing Google Ads. But it seems that publishing alone will not get me any money form Google. Sad. So sad.

For someone like me, seeing that my sites are earning $1.00 per day is already a good thing. But unfortunately, it really isn't a good thing. Ever since May this year, I have stopped doing write-ups, which means I have not been updating my sites, resulting in a huge drop for my traffic. Less traffic means you are not going to be making any money from your blog.

So I have decided to do some experiment. My brain is starting to get back in shape and so, I cannot wait until it's my day off so I can get back to work and make some moolah on my blogs. :D

Chet Edwards for VP?

Who is Chet Edwards? Chet Edwards is a US Representative who, as Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi thinks may be a good running mate for Barack Obama. Rep. Chet Edwards is a 56-year-old as well as a 9-term congressman for a district in Texas, which also includes the incumbent President's ranch in Crawford.

According to some of the few articles that I read about Rep. Chet Edwards, he is well-known in his district, people respect him, and that he's an overall good guy. But what would happen if he ran for Vice President? Would he still have the same respect that people have for him now, or will that deteriorate if he won? But then again, the spotlight most of the time is always on the President, and in my opinion, the Vice President usually doesn't get as much heat as the President always does.

I'm not a US-citizen, so I really don't know anything about how the politicians work in the US. I hardly know anything about how the politicians do their work around here either. When it comes to politics, I'm a dum-dum, so someone please, educate me.

Be Cisco Certified!

When I first heard of Cisco certification, I absolutely had no idea about it. I heard about it from my Networking professor back in college and heard about how hard she worked her butt off just to be certified. As a kid who couldn't care less about anything else at the time, I really didn't care. But then, I got exposed to the wonderful world of being certified for things that you know about. Well, not only will it work to your advantage, everyone seems to have a better life if they are certified from what I've noticed.

Since I have a degree in Computer Engineering, I'm qualified to be Cisco certified if I choose to be. If I choose to be certified, I would probably be working in a very prestigious company and be paid with a salary beyond my imagination. Hey, it's free to dream, so you don't have a say in this. Anyway, it is true though. In our world nowadays, the more certified you are, the more your monetary value increases. When you go out to apply for jobs, the higher will the company pay you just to have you working for them. The certification will serve as an indication that you are worth having in your workplace.

When I checked out the Cisco website about their trainings, I was really really tempted to go for the CCENT Certification. I might really go for it, actually. It's the entry-level certification and being certified for Networking can earn you the big bucks. I'm not just pining for the money, it's also because I enjoy being a geek.

So maybe in a couple of years from now when I have enough resources, I'll sign up with Cisco and be certified at last!

LAN Party for Geeks

There's a party that'll happen this coming August in Cebu! And it's no ordinary party, people! I usually don't like to party, but I might like this particular party.I'm the kind of person that you can called techy, but I'm not gonna say that I'm all that and that and let other people assume that I know everything technological.

Anyway this party is for those who can afford to bring their PC units, game consoles, laptops and any of their gadgets that can connect to the network that will be made at the site. You can read up on more details at Geek Jam LAN Party in Cebu.

This party is also part of the celebration for the Mandaue Business Month.

Contest for Cebu Blogs

I know I posted on my other blog, Miss Wilhelmina, the mechanics for this contest. I should've posted on here first, since this blog has more traffic than the other blog. But what's done is done, and I can only hope that any Cebuano blogger who comes across this blog will still join the contest.

Here are the mechanics:

Objective: To let a hundred Cebu Blogs bloom.

MECHANICS:

1.) The blogger has to create a new blog about Cebu. Existing blogs
with already entries or traffic are not allowed. The blog may be self-
hosted, or it maybe in any of the publicly available free sites like
Blogger.com, MSN LiveSpaces.com, or Wordpress.com

2.) It should be a new blog which will have a PageRank of 0 in Google,
and 0 authority as according to Blog Authority, Technorati.

the other accepted contestants. That means all official blogs will
carry a link to all other Cebu Blog contestants).

- the blogs may also be asked to carry the logos of the sponsors of
the mandaue Business Month.

Other than the above, the Cebu blogs are free to add whatever widgets,
advertisements, or add-ons that they feel will add to the value of
the blog or to their own income. However, please do note that a blog

overall aesthetics category.

Get Paid to Try

Gptt240
When you read about getting paid to fill out survey, you must be thinking about getting scammed, right? Well, it can't be helped. Thing is, in the US, a lot of big companies pay obscene amounts of money just to know what the local consumer thinks. So there really are paying companies that pay those who take the survey.

GetPaidToTry.com is another one of those companies that pay the local US resident to fill out surveys and sign up on some paying websites. These websites are most of the time know websites that need feedback. What I like about this website is that upon sign-up, you can get an immediate $20.00 bonus, only if you complete 10 offers from their sponsors. So if you are a US citizen and in the US, why not try it out and see for yourself? You may Click here to begin.

Depending on the advertiser, you can earn from as low as $0.50 per survey and as much as $22.50. It would've been very fortunate for me if only I lived in the US as of the moment, but it's just too bad that I don't. Oh well, I just hope that people around here would pay for our opinions as well.

Hope that you can make it there! :D

Paypal Fees

When you do sign up for a paypal account, you have to check on how much Paypal would be collecting from you for every payment to you. But first we have to identify what the different Paypal accounts are.

I have a Business account, so when I got paid about $100, Paypal took a chunk out of it, like $4.20 chunk. Talk about getting ripped off. But then again, I still need Paypal for now, because most online businesses use Paypal now.

Cleanup Time!

5238dd240x180publicGoodness me. I just took a look around my room and well it's a big mess! I normally clean up but having two little siblings who aren't too little anymore with you just puts you out of your momentum of having a clean space. And since I can't really ask the sibs to clean up, I have to do it on my own or pay somebody to do it.

Paying somebody to clean up after our mess? Nope, can't be an option. I can't afford to do that. Bribe my brother and sister? Hmmm, could work. Could definitely work. Let's see, I got about a couple hundred pesos in my wallet.

I'm gonna start crying now. Looks like I still won't be able to get this dump cleaned up. Oh well, I guess it's about time I started saving up for one of those contraptions that suck up dirt called vacuums. One thing though, vacuums are not so famous here in the Philippines, we're used to using brooms. That's the best way to save up energy and work out at the same time. But if I get lazy and I spill some of my milk on the floor, the dog just comes in on cue and laps it all up.

Poor doggie got so used to it, it's almost routine.

There's an efficient way to clean up a mess without straining your electricity bill though. While browsing the net, I got to check out pretty vacuums and they were cordless too. They were actually from Dirt Devil. I read up on the cleaning machines and found out that they're cheaper than common vacuums with cords that everyone trips over, they're also lighter, they would be able to save me time since cleaning up with a broom is time-consuming, and if I got one, I'd be lessening energy consumption too. The products even have the Energy Star logo, which means they really do save on energy.

These products look like they will be worth it when I get myself one.

Morning Shift

I love the morning. I love the cold breeze everytime I walk out of the house. I love the feeling of the hot chicken noodle soup getting into my tummy.

Now that I'm done with all the love-its, let's get to the hate-its.

I hate not getting on a jeepney to work soon enough, I hate the traffic everytime the jeepney I'm on passes through Carbon. And I hate pushing myself to wake up when I just barely got into bed.

Truth is, I don't really mind waking up as early as my usual bedtime, all I want is to be able to get to bed early, and if I can, I just hope that I have undisturbed sleep.

Undisturbed sleep.

Again, this brings me to wanting my own room. If I have my own room, I'd be able to get enough sleep without the TV blaring, and I won't have to sense people walking around. I'm actually cool with sharing the room with my brother and my sister, but I just don't think having a computer, a laptop, a TV inside a room and your next door neighbor blasting their radio 24 hours a day can give me enough peace.

Let's see, this is about the 4th week of my employed life. On the first week of work, we were scheduled for the mid-shift, that's about 2PM-10PM. This continued until the second week. Right after the second week, the next stage of training started and we were scheduled for the last shift---10PM-6AM. We were happy that we were finally put in the last shift, since that meant more cash because of the benefits of working late at night. But then the trainer decided that we should be given the first shift. Can you just imagine the Hazard pay and Night Differential pay growing wings and leaving us?

Oh well, I guess we should just be contented with the week-long extra pay for now.

Advertisers Should Do SocialSpark

I kinda wish that this blog can stand on its own, meaning that I won't have to work so hard just to keep it up. Well, since I just started with SocialSpark, I was pretty eager to see what it could offer and obviously eager to earn with it. I was kinda excited that I would be able to do sponsored posts again and without having to hide it from the readers. The purpose of this post is to let advertisers know that SocialSpark.com can help in booming their business if they just have enough people linking back to them and bloggers' posts are just as good as promoting their products.

Like for me, I've always like the sports gear from Adidas. I bought myself tennis shoes that I have loved so much because of its durability and the comfort that I felt while using it. Aside from their tennis shoes, their shirts rock as well as their bags. Oh I could just go on and on with their products.

And since I've just started working and have been thinking about getting myself a new car (wishful thinking!), I've always wanted to get myself a Honda CRV. Yeah, I know it's been out in the market for a while now, but I just want an SUV, so sue me.

By the way, this template isn't totally mine, as everyone can see on the footer, but I have done some changes to it and I will be making more changes using Photoshop. I have to change the imagery, to personalize this blog more. I just wish that Photoshop's cheaper though, it sure takes a pretty penny just to get a license. But whatever, I love Photoshop, nonetheless. :D

100th Post!

Actually, this post isn't the 100th post on this blog if I didn't move some of the content to the other blog. But I needed some content on there and well, this blog was getting too cluttered. I just had some hot noodles. Hot chicken noodles. Hot chicken noodle soup like the one below.

Wouldn't you want one too? :D Alright, I was kidding about having one like it. I just had some hot chicken instant noodles. You happy now? Hmph, bet you still wanted some, hahah. Anyway, it's about time that I got ready for work. Remember, I have to get out of here in about an hour. Tsk tsk. Oh work.

Sparking Social Web Life

This blog has been quite idle in the money-making business for the past few months. But now with SocialSpark, I could make some cash with my blog, and not just waste my time Internet-ing my life away. And it's not just all about monetizing your blog, with SocialSpark, you can also build communities where you can promote your blog among fellow bloggers and advertisers. And if you think you don't have enough traffic, SocialSpark is also a good way to boost it, because the more you check out your fellow bloggers' blogs, they usually reciprocate the visit and if they find your blog interesting enough, there's nothing stopping them from visiting again.

Most bloggers are crazy about getting high PR, but if you barely have any visitors, what's the point of having a high one? Yes, I'm serious about that question. Anyway, I got invited into SocialSpark a long time ago, back when SocialSpark was still in Alpha. But now, lookee:

To get a feel of the SocialSpark blogger homepage, here's a screenshot:

SocialSpark also has a code of ethics:

-100% Audit-able In-Post Disclosure
-100% Transparency
-100% Real Opinions
-100% Search Engine Friendly

There are a lot of opportunities that even new bloggers can take, just as long as your blog's three months old and not loaded with adult content, it's all good. Bloggers are also nuts about stats, and each blog profile has its own analytics overview where you can view your RealRank, Alexa Rank, the number of pageviews, and also the number of visitors that the blog receives.

Since I am still fairly new to SocialSpark, I think I'm gonna need more time to check things out then write again on how SocialSpark is. And while you're reading this, why not sign up as well and prop my blog so I can prop your blog too?

Chillaxin' and Miss Wilhelmina

It's currently 3:45AM, no make that 3:46AM. Wondering why I'm up so early? It's because I have work at 6:00AM. Travel time to work is about 20 minutes if you have your own car, minus the traffic. But if it's a normal time and you have to commute, good luck in getting to work within 20 minutes. It usually takes me about an hour and a alf just to get there.

Anyway, I'm chillaxin' for now, just finished my breakfast and just staring at my other blog, Miss Wilhelmina. I'm actually still not done with editing the template, but I'm way too busy right now and *cough*mybirthday'scomingup*cough* on Monday, so I guess I'm gonna have to take things slow for now.

So I guess that's it for now. Oh and PS, for the Filipinos out there, Bamboo super rocks!

Criss Angel BELIEVE

If you checked back about a couple of months back on this blog, you might have noticed a post about Criss Angel. Well, I guess I can call myself a fan, not really a die-hard fan, but a fan, nonetheless. When I was a kid, I never knew any magicians at all, but I heard about Harry Houdini, being the best escape-ologist and all, so they say. But usually magicians just don't make them appreciate them the way they wanna be appreciated. If I were a kid, I probably would, but when I saw Criss Angel perform some of his illusions, I was entertained. I've watched some of his interviews and found out that some of the illusions are real and some of them are staged. But I don't really care. I'm all up for the entertainment from him. The stunts that he performs are dangerous and intriguing. It's just like nothing you've seen before. I've watched his videos from his TV show, but I've always wanted to see him perform live. And one can go see him perform at the Luxor Hotel in Las Vegas.

Criss Angel also works with Cirque du Soleil and he has a show called CRISS ANGEL Believe. You can buy your tickets online at the Cirque du Soleil's website. They also had a text contest running for US and Canada residents, but it closed just on the 14th of June. If it was still open, all you had to do was text the word 'Believe' to 22122 to win a pair of tickets to the show. So the next time you come to Las Vegas, hop by the Luxor and let Criss Angel mystify you.

Ten Years Ago...

Wow, it's been a while since I've seen another of these. It wouldn't be so long if I actually bothered visiting the blogs on my blogroll. Not that I don't care, I really do, but I just got caught up with the real world. So there!

Paypal and The EON Cyber Account

So you've decided to do paid posts with your blog. But you have no idea how to get paid without a Paypal account. So you sign up for Paypal and then comes the problem. You don't have a credit card. Say, you're a Filipino student or just someone who doesn't have a credit card and is Filipino.

What is Paypal?

According to Wikipedia,

PayPal is an e-commerce business allowing payments and money transfers to be made through the Internet. It is also a European bank based in Luxembourg. It serves as an electronic alternative to traditional paper methods such as cheques and money orders. PayPal performs payment processing for online vendors, auction sites, and other corporate users, for which it charges a fee. It sometimes also charges a transaction fee for receiving money (a percentage of the amount sent plus an additional fixed amount). The fees charged depend on the currency used, the payment option used, the country of the sender, the country of the recipient, the amount sent and the recipient's account type.

Really though, if you are a poor Filipino who can't afford to get yourself a credit card, just sign up for an EON cyber account online at Unionbank. Follow the link to read up on the Terms and Conditions of applying for a CyberAccount. As of the moment, the online application form is currently being upgraded, so the best thing you can do is find a Unionbank branch where you would prefer to be associated with.

Right after application, depending on your location in the Philippines, your EON CyberAccount kit will be available from 5-14 business days upon application. You're gonna need at least two(2) valid IDs to be able to claim your kit.

What you need to do when claiming the EON kit

1. Make a personal appearance

2. You must provide a photocopy of at least two (2) valid IDs:

* Passport
* Current Driver's License
* Permit to Carry Firearms
* New Social Security System (SSS) card
* Government Services Insurance System (GSIS) eCard
* Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) ID
* New Tax Identification Number (TIN) Card
* Postal ID
* National Statistics Office (NSO) authenticated Birth Certificate
* NSO authenticated Marriage Certificate
* Original & unexpired National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Clearance
* Police Clearance
* Digitized Voter's ID
* Philhealth card
* Office of Senior Citizen Affairs (OSCA) / Senior Citizen card
* ACR Identity Card (I-Card)
* Consular ID
* Barangay certification
* Philippine Overseas Employment Association (POEA) / Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) Card
* OFW ID
* Seaman's Book
* Government office ID (e.g., Armed Forces of the Philippines, Home Development Mutual Fund [HDMF] IDs)
* Certification from the National Council for the Welfare of Disabled Persons (NCWDP)
* Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Certification
* PRA Special Resident Retiree Visa (SRRV) ID
* Other valid IDs issued by the Government and its instrumentalities

On the next post, how to link your EON CyberAccount with your Paypal account. :)

Extra Extra!

It's been a while since I read up on the latest news. Truth be told, I don't really know what's been going on in the world and well, I've been too absorbed in everything that has been going on in my life very recently that I think I've been left behind in everything that I love.

So, do you like news?

Want to be the Next Top Model?

Well, maybe not exactly the Next Top Model from the American show, but who knows? This could be the break you've been waiting for. There's a global beauty contest online for everyone over at LookOfTheYear.com. It's an open opportunity for everyone who has always wanted to be a model. The contest is open to girls and boys aged 14-19, and men and women aged 19 and above.

If you win, you can win $10,000. If you don't win, don't worry, there's a chance that modeling agencies will discover you and take you in. Just imagine the possibilities with this contest. All you have to do is submit your photo to the site and participate. Easy right?

If you're young and beautiful, then join the Look of the Year contest.

PC or Mac?

If you were to choose, which one would you actually prefer? I'm more used to using the PC since it's what most stores sell here in the Philippines, as well as what most Filipinos use. I actually subscribed to Apple's newsletter and think that their new gadgets are really nice to look at, but hte price is not so nice to the common consumer. So, how about you? PC or Mac? Anyone?

Back to School Time

Now that I'm finally done with school, I shouldn't feel the pressure of going back to school. But as I walked around town yesterday, I noticed that everyone's been fussing over how many notebooks to buy, what kinds of pens they should get, and even contemplating whether or not they should get a new bag.

I remember when my mom and dad would take me school supply shopping. I hardly ever got what I wanted. Being a kid, I wanted to get the pretty stuff, but my dad would choose my school stuff for me. Notebooks during those years cost about PhP 4.50. The notebooks that I use now cost at least PhP 10.50, and that's if they're on sale.

The supplies may cost more, but everyone still need to get them before going back to school. Having new tools, more often than not, inspire students to use them more, makes them eager to gain new knowledge through these tools, thus preparing them for the world that they will be undertaking.

I can only hope that the students will really put the new supplies to good use. There are plenty of underprivileged children who would want to even just own a pen and a piece of paper.

Domain Names

What are domain names? If I put here the technical terms associated with it, it might just confuse the readers. The best way to define domain names is to show you what they are. Below are just some examples:

misswilhelmina.com
therichness.net

If you look at the address bar above, the URL to this blog is http://thisiswhereichill.blogspot.com. The domain name is blogspot.com. This blog is actually owned by the owners of Blogger. This blog is just one of the many subdomains of Blogger.

In picking a domain, make sure your domain name is very easy to remember. The shorter, the better, actually. The subdomain I picked for this blog is thisiswhereichill. This blog wasn't meant for anything else except me, well, chilling.

Anyway, there are a lot of domain name hosts that you can register your domains with. Domain names are as low as $6.95 and as much as $49.99. The following are just some domain name registrars:

Yahoo
godaddy
1and1
register

I'm not gonna go in-depth with domain name registration, because it's boring stuff. Really. If you do decide to get yourself your own domain name, check if the domain is still available with any of the registrars. If it is, then there's nothing to stop you from registering it. Except maybe not having a credit card.

More about credit cards later on. In choosing the right domain registrar for you, make sure you read through the terms and conditions, and there's no better way to tell what the customers are saying than reading reviews about the registrar and asking around in community forums.

Monetizing Wordpress

All right, so this blog is waaay overdue in the "Monetizing Your Blog" series. Let me make things clear first. It is absolutely forbidden to make money off your free Wordpress blog. Wordpress has been shutting down blogs that have paid content in them.

In a free Wordpress blog, you can't put ads on it, or put any form of paid content on it. So how do you monetize it even if it's still free-hosted?

The only way to do it is to be sneaky about it, make sure that any paid content you put on it isn't obvious. If you want to be sneaky, that's your business. Wordpress users can be reported for having paid content, so you better be careful if you decide on using your free blog for paid posts.

But really, Wordpress blogs are really good if you want to do paid posts. It might be tough starting out on a Wordpress blog, with all the plugins that you have to install just to get your blog the way you want it to be. If you want to know how Wordpress blogs work, sign up for a free Wordpress blog account, familiarize yourself with all the features, and make sure that you have enough basic PHP and HTML knowledge to pull off effective blogging.

Actually, all you need to know is how to type and have some flow of ideas. But having even a little web knowledge would make things faster and would make it easier for you to make your blog even better than it already is.

So the only way to monetize your Wordpress blog without being sneaky is to get yourself a domain name, and a reliable web host. I sense this post going somewhere again. Looks like I found my next post topic.

Anyway, speaking from experience, Wordpress is the best blogging platform based on its features and the available plugins that are also available. Wordpress has a ton of templates to choose from and if you have enough web knowledge, you can make your own theme and be unique.

Next on the "Monetizing Your Blog" series: getting your own domain name and web hosting.

Chillaxin' and Being Ranked

Some people have been wondering why this blog is called Chillaxin'. It's a word made up of two words: Chill and Relaxing. Basically, I like doing both. Hence, Chillaxin'. Actually, I do it more than anything else. So I guess you can call me a bum then. I'm a lazy person. Haha.

Anyway, a lot of Filipinos don't know what that means, but a lot also does. Unfortunately, almost everyone that I know don't know the word. Right now, I really shouldn't be chilling out and relaxing. I have big bad exams coming up in less than a week, man. But yeah, I'm supposed to be doing my laundry now, but someone beat me to the laundry area.

So here I am again, chillaxin'. I noticed that this blog finally got up from being unranked to getting PR0. Waaaa. Nothing to be happy about, but then again, it's better to see a PR0/10 than unranked. Let's just hope my talents are enough to help me pass the upcoming exam.

I'm so wrecked right now, I actually went back to nail-biting. Ew, gross. My right index finger's actually half its size now since February started. Oh well, it'll grow back anyways. I just need some suckers(lollipops) to keep my mouth busy after the exam.

Oh, and yeah, I forgot, it's time I shamelessly plug my other blog, Miss Wilhelmina, go ahead and click on the link already! :D

Anarchist Philosophy

And yes, it's the fifth of the blogs that I am reviewing for today. I have no guarantee that I will be reviewing more again tomorrow. Who knows? And no, I'm not getting paid for these blog reviews. This is an opportunity for me to be able to have something to write about on my blog.

So I troll the Web again to find more money making sites and I found Anarchist Philosophy. Don't ask me why that is the blog's title, I'm not the blogger himself. Anyway, the blog was actually one of the most unique ones I've seen so far. There were a lot of moving stuff on there. Lots of marquees. I could very well say that the layout is fairly clean and that he used marquees to make sure that the links weren't scattered.

I enjoyed One Door, Two Rooms, Three Lightbulbs. The post was about a puzzle involving three light bulbs. Hop on over to the site and see if you can actually solve it. I know I had a little hard time with it. You might actually do better on it than I did.

Make Money With a 14-year-old

Holy scattered ads! So I search for money-making blogs and then I come up with Make Money Online. I was gonna wait for a few more posts before I start talking about sponsored posts, but if you check out the blog, that's when you can really say that the posts are really, really sponsored. Sponsored by Adsense, that is. Hmmm, I'd really love to flaunt all my ads out there for everyone to see, but not like on that site.

As I continue to read up on what information this site has for me, I checked out his most recent posts until I came across his Brought a New Car post. I thought, "Oooh, I'd love to be able to buy a new car someday.". Turns out he really didn't buy a car, but they got a loan car instead from an insurance company. I have no idea how rebates work, but well, he says the car is a "musitibi lancer".

Yeah, a Musitibi Lancer. Check him out if you want. :)

Thoughts of a Blank Mind

I was kinda procrastinating from writing up the next entry about site monetization, because frankly, my ind just went blank. It seems that these things needed to be planned ahead before I actually post. So readers, look out for the next entry.

Well, speaking of blank minds, I came across Blank Mind of Treizie. The blog author is a fellow Filipina who has dedicated her site to her son, Treizie. Cute name. I'm guessing he's gonna be called Trei with an American accent because his mommy is a home-based call center agent too. I just realized Treizie could be pronounced as "Tracy".

Anyway, as I looked through her blog, one particular entry caught my eye. It was the Browsing The Net While Reading A Novel post. How can you browse the net while reading? And a novel at that! At first, I just thought that she could just probably be talking about a novel online, then I started reading and then realized that it was an actual book that her bf gave her which he bought from the National Book Store. Lady call center agent, you sure take multi-tasking to heart. Kudos!

Eccentricity Over the Net

And just when I thought there could possibly no one else who's crazier than moi, I come across PC's are on the interweb now?. It seems that the ones moderating this blog like wasting away. But then again, what self-proclaiming insane tech doesn't? :)

What I love about this site though is the "super sexy" layout. *Chuckles* These guys are funny, if you really read what they're writing. I'm positive I've seen a layout similar to it. It was a Wordpress layout. This site probably had that layout first then the mods just tweak the CSS to get it the way they wanted it. Kudos to those guys. They did an excellent job at it.

I enjoyed reading Billztard and the epic apache problem, it was about one of the authors trying to get into the World of Warcraft website so that he can pay for his game subscription, but unfortunately, there was a server problem on the end of Blizzard, so he calls up tech support, and well, it was a funny call. He might've been pretty p*ssed when he called, but the tech just proved himself to be umm...idiotic. Read up on the post and you'll see what I mean.

The World Is Yours Now!!!

In my quest to find other blogs that might help me in learning about opportunities online and how to effectively benefit from them, I came across The World Is Yours Now. It's actually a blog that talks about how you can do better with finance and how to find opportunities that would later on be quite beneficial to the the seeker.

I found one of the blogger's posts that quite peaked my interest. It's about tips on getting a higher Page Rank or gaining it back again after getting a Page Rank drop. I know I haven't talked about PR on my blog yet, but we will come to that. The blogger made some very interesting points about PR and I might actually apply some of those tips. Now I'm off to read some more from the said blog, so should you. If you're into site monetization, this site can really give you some insight about it.

Monetizing Blogger

Blogger is probably the easiest blogging platform to monetize. Why? Basically because it's Google-powered and it has page elements that make it easy for you to customize your blog, as well as an Adsense page element.

Now for the blog super-newbie, from Google

Google AdSense is a fast and easy way for website publishers of all sizes to display relevant Google ads on their website's content pages and earn money. Because the ads are related to what your visitors are looking for on your site — or matched to the characteristics and interests of the visitors your content attracts — you'll finally have a way to both monetize and enhance your content pages.

It's also a way for website publishers to provide Google web and site search to their visitors, and to earn money by displaying Google ads on the search results pages.

Get it? If you had a site, even a free-hosted blog such as this one, you can be a publisher of their ads and earn money through it. I haven't cracked the Adsense code yet, and still in the process of fully understanding it, but I have earned something through it. Right now, I'm not planning on becoming a full-time publisher of the ads just yet, but God-willing, if my predictions are gonna be right, I might not have to have a job anymore and just live off of Adsense.

I can't go in-depth with discussing Adsense right now, because that would veer away from the broader topic, which is monetizing Blogger. I might as well just make a little list of what I know so far.

Monetize via:

1. Adsense
2. Any other ad publishing sites
3. Paid Posts
4. Affiliate Marketing
5. Selling your own products

About ad-publishing, please, I mean, PLEASE, read the Terms of Service before agreeing to it. This is so that just in case you think of something, you would know that it is either in violation or not of the TOS.

For example, if you are a publisher of Adsense and of course you find out that you get paid via clicks on your ads and then you have this epiphany of wanting to click your own ads in hopes of generating income for yourself. This is what I have to say about it.

DO NOT EVEN DARE HOVERING YOUR MOUSE POINTER OVER YOUR OWN ADS! ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO CLICK ON THEM.

Seriously, you don't want to be banned by Google for violating their TOS. If you continue to "fool" Google by clicking on your own ads, chances are the advertisers are wasting their money advertising their sites for bogus clicks, and Google has very low tolerance about false clicks. I stated above to not even dare to hover your mouse above the ads, because well, accidental clicks happen, and well, you know that sh*t happens too.

Wow, this is turning out to be a long series of posts. Stay tuned for more. I am so not done yet.

First Step to Site Monetization

If you want to go with the "trend" of earning online, then there's plenty of us doing that right now. It's just a matter of how you are going to pull it off so you can generate the most income out of your time on the Web. I mentioned previously in another entry that you would need a site to start off. A blog is actually the easiest site to start because of the following factors:

1. Blogs can be started free-hosted
2. All you need to know is how to write
3. Templates are always available anywhere on the Web for free

To start off, get yourself a blog. There are a number of free-hosted blogs out on the Web right now. The top two free-hosted blogs right now are

1. Wordpress
2. Blogger

Errr, they aren't exactly the only free-hosted blogs on the Web. There's also MySpace, Friendster and Xanga. But I'm gonna focus on the two mentioned above, because I got better experience with these two than the other blogs. I have a MySpace and Friendster blog, but I prefer standalone blogs than social networking blogs. By the way, if you want a free Typepad blog, you can get one by having a Friendster account. Friendster blogs uses the Typepad platform. Typepad is powerful, but costs too much money for a cheapskate like me.

Moving on...

Wordpress

You can sign up to test this platform at Wordpress.com. It's very easy to use if you have basic knowledge about pressing buttons and such and they have like a gazillion templates available for you to choose from. Wordpress also has a ton of plugins where you can activate and use to your heart's content. But Wordpress has been shutting down free blogs that have paid content in them recently, so that means you can't monetize your blog via ads. At first, Wordpress blogs are just not user-friendly. There's too many buttons and plugins to look at. You'll get used to it eventually. Your URL will look like this:

http://yoururl.wordpress.com

Blogger

It's Google's personal blogging platform. This blog that you are reading on is actually running on it, only it has a Wordpress theme. Blogger is very user-friendly and the best part about this platform is that you can display ads on your blog right away and start monetizing by putting Adsense on your blog. All you need to do is have a Gmail account for all things Google. With a Gmail account, you can use it to log in to your Adsense account, Analytics, Blogger, basically everything Google. Your URL will look like:

http://yoururl.blogspot.com

Mind you though, I have earned some cash through this free-hosted blog, but I advise you to get yourself your own domain. More on that later on. The next step will be on the next entry as I talk about how to monetize even your free-hosted Wordpress blog.

The NOT So Talented Mr. Montano?

The NOT so talented Mr. Montano? It seems that Mr. Brian Gorrell had changed his blog's title. This one is much much more appropriate. I wouldn't imagine calling my ex "talented". He'd be too flattered. I'll admit, he was talented in some things, but not in anything good. Well, not in anything good for the human soul, at least.

Look at the transition:

From this,

To this,

Anyway, Mr. Gorrell seems happier now. Not that he has money back, but because of the onslaught of support coming from all over the world through his blog. According to him, he has been receiving reports about the whereabouts of his ex-lover from special people and even one of Mr. Montano's relatives.

People, don't think I'd wanna hear anything about my ex anymore. I've already told everybody to stop asking me about how he is. I don't know and frankly, I don't give a flying ****. Mr. Gorrell's and my situation may be similar, but I chose to just forget about him since it wasn't USD$70,000 and I do not have HIV, so I don't need the money. I was just happy he was GONE, GONE, GONE.

All the juicy stuff about bringing Manila's High Society down has been very well---juicy. Everyone wants to know what Brian can unravel for the readers more. I know I totally enjoy reading his posts, even if he does have some occasional spelling errors. I like watching him petting his dogs, they really are adorable. They don't look like super pretty dogs, but they are very pretty. It's the loving that makes them pretty.

For some, the blog coming out is a bad thing. For others, it's an eye opener. I didn't even know that we had people like that living in the Philippines amidst all the Philippine poverty. Right now, I'm not only wishing Mr. Gorrell good luck on his quest, but I am also wishing all Filipinos the best, except for a few people here and there. But don't worry I certainly don't wish them ill.

Monetizing Your Site

How exactly do you earn via the Internet, aside from your numerous businesses in real life, etc, etc, etc?

Well, if you spend more than a couple of hours on the Internet, doing nothing but trolling the Web for the latest gossip on Britney, why not make good use of that wasted time and earn while at it, right?

I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who thought of this, and I'm probably 10 years too late at this, but there are still more people out there who don't know how to monetize their time on the Internet. And no, I won't be asking you for money for this information. But if you really insist, who am I to say no? :P

Anyway, what you need to have before you can actually start monetizing your time are the following:

1. A site

It doesn't matter what kind of website it is, but unless you're planning to just make money from ads, get a site that will generate a lot of traffic. You guys figure out what kind of site that is. It all depends on your ideas. But if you like to write/blog like me, then get a blog.

I'll talk more about blogs on the next entry.

2. An actual address

Yes, seriously. You have to have proof that you live where you say you live. I'll talk more about that later too.

3. A credit card

For Paypal. It can be a debit card or an ATM card too. But if you are a student and in the Philippines, get the Unionbank EON Card. More on that next time as well.

Make Money With Your Blogs

Pretty soon right after the exams that I have been talking about over and over again on this blog, I will be writing about how you can make money off the blog that you are using/writing on.

This will include details on getting paid for posting on your sites, doing surveys, even get paid with Paypal even if you don't have a credit card. But be wary, the last one will only be good enough for people in the Philippines.

I'm no expert in getting a lot of traffic, so I'm afraid I won't be able to discuss that. Anyway, keep checking back just in case I post again.

The Forbidden Kingdom Review

Quite a few posts back, I said that I'm going to watch the movie even if I have to go all alone. And I did.

Watching a movie all by your lonesome is no fun, but that depends on you being used to being lonely. And I am pretty much very used to doing things alone. But really, I had things to do that day and wasn't expecting to be done with it so quickly.

Ok, I was totally ignoring the main character, which I supposed was the white guy, whom I've never even seen before. He was nerdy-looking in my opinion, or maybe he could've looked better in other movies or shows, I just didn't care about him. I went to watch the movie because I wanted to see Jet Li and Jackie Chan.

Anyway, so what do I think about it? Well, it wasn't the kind of movie that would compete with stunts from the Spiderman and Mission Impossible movies. Those stunts are very thought of and they used weapons. In The Forbidden Kingdom, all the action was pure martial arts, in short, you don't fake any of it. Sure, you can assist the effects and make them look like you were flying, but the martial arts is still feasible. And in martial arts, execute them properly and fast enough, you can actually be flying for a couple meters.

I'm so stuck at the fight scene that Jet Li and Jackie Chan had. The Praying Mantis was shown with such grace by Jet Li, and Jackie Chan did the Tiger. Errr, you gotta watch it to appreciate it. The scenery was really nice, bamboos in China, the stream, the pink cotton bushes... They looked like cherry blossom trees, but they were too small and looked like bushes. The movie was full enough of beautiful scenes for you to appreciate it.

The special effects with the chi generating Jade warlord was excellent actually, you can't even tell if it wasn't real. That was how well-blended the technology was with the movie. I'm pretty sure I've seen the girl on their team before, she had a show here in the Philippines during prime time, and well I didn't realize how skinny and tall she was until the movie. She usually wore a kimono in her TV show. :)

Jackie Chan was a drunk in the movie and I just couldn't help but think about how long he has been in the movies that he was constantly referred to as an old man in the movie. I never thought he would actually grow as old as he is now.

It was weird on my part to see Jet Li act as The Monkey King. The Monkey King was an enchanting character, with his mischievousness and naughty demeanor. But then again, Jet Li played a serious monk as well. And I was very surprised to see him laughing at the main character when he first met the main character. Who would think that Jet Li can laugh out loud?

Anyway, so there you go. I enjoyed the movie and I went all alone. So if you're gonna go with somebody, you're gonna enjoy it even better.

I Need To Get Away

Yes, it's true. After slacking off on posting on my blog, I have come to a point where I must leave it in the air and just simply ignore it. Honestly, as much as I would love to keep on posting and posting and enhancing my writing skills, if I have any, I would do so. But right now is just not the time to indulge myself. I have to inject myself a HUGE dose of self-discipline and sacrifice what I love for something else that I don't like until next month.

To know more about what, just check out my entry at the other blog. This links you to Miss Wilhelmina. It's barely a few days old and I'm abandoning it so easily. It's got a bunch of personal stuff about me there, so check it out if you want to know why I'm going away.

I have a special favor to ask my readers also and I put it there. Thank you all.

I'll be back.

Cards

What comes into your mind when you hear the word, "cards"? I think of playing cards when I hear it. But when I hear someone say "card", I think of my ATM card. Funny how those two words just differ with just one letter. I used to play cards with my neighbors back when we were still children. My father would catch me playing cards and then spank me. I always feared my dad's hand. But when I think back on it, I realize that he was just trying to keep my from straying just like the kids I used to play with. At first it was just for fun, but as we grew, I noticed that they were putting money into each game and I almost got hooked too. The kids that I used to play cards with are so different from when we were just innocent kids. I grew up, went to college, got my degrees, and now on my way to getting a license. The kids I used to play with are now fathers without wives, mothers without husbands, and junkies, except for a few. Looking back now, I guess I didn't grow up in such a good neighborhood after all. I was just taken cared of quite well.

Criss Angel Flies

I have never heard of Criss Angel in my entire life, until one day I was on The Richness Forums chatting with my loves, Pinkislove00 and Storie, and Pink talks about Criss Angel. I was like, "Criss who?". Then I found out that he's an American with Greek lineage illusionist. The only American illusionist I knew was David Blaine. I'll never forget the illusion he made with taking his heart out. Sick. Poor Carson Daly was cringing. I did a little research and well, turns out David's more of an endurance master rather than an illusionist. Criss Angel, however, just amazes me. Seriously. Getting rolled on by a steamroller, hit by a car through a block wall, walking on water, getting cut in half by a 4-foot saw, and even getting nailed into a coffin which was shredded in a wood chipper with him inside and surviving it. I was shaking after I saw the last video. He's a Mindfreak, alright! He didn't get out of that coffin, the coffin got shredded, and you can even see the "blood, crushed bones and pulp" come out of the wood chipper chute. His wife at the time and mother was freaking out. They expected him to get out of the coffin, but he didn't. Check the video out on youtube, I'm not gonna post it on here. It was definitely not for the faint of heart. But this one, just blows your mind! Watch the video, he levitates from building to building. I'd like to learn that!

Tagged! Ten Things About Me

Oh dear, I've been tagged. Haha! I don't mind, though. I like this kind of things. Anyway, let's get on with it.

1. I like peanut butter with chocolate.

Get Paid to Blog

If you enjoy blogging, I'm pretty sure you are going to enjoy it even more when you actually get paid to do it. There are plenty of sites that offer services for both advertisers and bloggers. They generally connect advertisers to bloggers. One of these sites is Smorty.com. Advertisers and bloggers sign up with Smorty, advertisers then advertises through Smorty, then Smorty posts these opportunities for the bloggers to write about.

Advertisers get buzz about their products via blog advertising. Bloggers can write their own opinions about the products being advertised and will get paid for it. Signing up is free, so there is nothing to worry about paying to get paid.

Blog advertising is just about the easiest way to advertise for the advertisers, since the Internet is a global phenomenon and basically anybody in the world who has it can read about the advertisers' products and might like the product. As for the bloggers, there should be no easier way to earn cash than get paid to blog.

Getting Cash in Advance

Are you stuck in a rut? Do you need emergency funds? Well, I was needing some actually, so I went on the prowl to look for something that could help. But like I'm actually going to apply for anything online. First of all, I just finished school, never worked in a legitimate company and I do not have any savings at all. In short, I am a super bum.

Well, I found this one site on cash loans, where all you have to do is fill out a form on line and then they match you with a payday lender online right away. And since it is an online process, those lenders should get back to you right away and if you are lucky enough to get approved, all you have to do is wait and then the lender will make the money that you need available to spend on the next business day, but this is for most lenders.

The lenders on the cash loans site can also get you qualified for a payday loan of up to $1500, which is very much useful especially in times like these. Online forms are supposedly the easiest way to apply for loans now, so a lot of people are getting on the Internet looking for these sites because of various emergencies in their lives.

So how do you qualify for cash advance on the Perfect Cash Advance site? You just need to earn at least $1,000 per month and that your bank account is direct deposited enabled. Just for that, most of the online lenders can offer you payday loans. I would be so happy if somebody directly deposited something in my bank account. But then, who wouldn't be?

Oh well, so if you are in dire need of cash loans, you might want to check out Perfect Cash Advance.

Top 15 Overexposed Celebrities

When you are just starting out in your career in the Entertainment scene, you need as much buzz as you can get, right? But what if you get a little bit too much press exposure? Would you want it? Sad to say, those who get the most exposure in this business are the ones who are more known because of how they act and not because of their talents in entertaining. Here are the top 15 overexposed celebrities of 2007 according to Forbes. Average celebrities only get 2% or 3% overexposure ratings*. These celebs are way over that.

1. Britney Spears
Overexposure rating: 72%

No surprise there. She was once the most sought-after young artist, and her musical talent was once praised by the whole world. She was all over the press for being such a good role model, but that was ten years ago. Now her every move and strange behavior is what keeps the paps moving after her and these are the only things getting her exposure now.

2. Paris Hilton
Overexposure rating: 68%

The Heiress, A Simple Life, Sex Scandal, DUI, need I really say more?

3. Kevin Federline
Overexposure rating: 54%

Very well-known through his marriage and divorce with number one, Britney Spears, which only hurt his "budding" career, as his debut album only got very harsh criticizing and umm, embarrassing sales.

4. Tom Cruise
Overexposure rating: 53%

Whatever happened to Tom? How come his name is still making the headlines even when he doesn't have any movies out currently? This is all due to being married to Katie Holmes, his religion, and of course, the never-ending popularity of his couch jump on the Oprah Winfrey show. But fans can keep on the lookout for him, he's supposed to be doing a movie soon enough.

5. Nicole Richie
Overexposure rating: 52%

Another girl gone wild. Various relationships, getting uber skinny, etc, etc, etc. And fans of A Simple Life should watch out for the fifth season.

6. Lindsay Lohan
Overexposure rating: 48%

Not sure I need to elaborate. Well, if it's true that she's changing for the better, I guess all I can say is good luck.

7. Michael Jackson
Overexposure rating: 47%

There is too much going on in this man's life. And now he wants a 50-foot robotic replica of himself in Las Vegas.

8. Donald Trump

Overexposure rating: 47%

I don't know much about this guy, except that he's filthy rich, berates Rosie O'Donnell for everything and that I wish he'd change his hair-do.

9. Terrell "T.O." Owens
Overexposure rating: 45%

Always has a controversy every season. That's probably his motto. Overdosing on pain pills and spitting in someone's face. Well, that's sure to get you some attention.

10. Howard K. Stern
Overexposure rating: 45%

He's best known as the late Anna Nicole Smith's attorney-turned-lover, and also her baby daddy.

11. Sanjaya Malakar
Overexposed rating: 44%

More exposed than the American Idol herself, Jordin Sparks? And to think he was 7th. Looks like there are a lot of Fanjayas in the press too. He's getting so popular that he's in magazines, on talk shows and even getting an invite to the White House Correspondents' Dinner.

12. Jessica Simpson

Overexposed rating: 42%

Everything about her is public, she hasn't done anything big enough to make news or anything, but she continues to be in the tabloids because of her relationships and "being a dumb blonde".

13. Howard Stern
Overexposed rating: 41%

I have no clue who this guy is at all. A little reading up on him just gave me this info: he made $500 Million in five years when he made the move to Sirius Satellite Radio. I don't wanna Google that, this post is long enough as it is.

14. Rosie O'Donnell
Overexposed rating: 38%

Way too many controversies, and the thing with Donald Trump's helping too.

15. Sean "Diddy" Combs
Overexposed rating: 38%

Being in the music industry, changing names, relationships, parties and his very public life all makes this possible. They say that nobody can host a party better than this man.
